[Food] Summer Dessert! How to make Coconut Green Bean Sweet Soup at Home | 新式消暑甜品椰汁綠豆沙簡單做法食譜

😋 easy homemade version I tried!

My favorite summer dessert Sweet Mung Bean Soup Recipe:

 

 In a large pot, combine mung beans, brown sugar, water, and pandan leaves (optional). 

 




Bring to a boil, reduce heat and allow to simmer for 30 minutes or until mung bean splits open. 

Add sago pearls (optional) and coconut milk. 

 


Simmer for another 8 minutes or until sago pearls turn translucent. 

Serve warm or chilled. This is refreshing on hot days!!!

  1. soak mung beans in water for 30–60 mins
  2. boil 6–8 bowls of water
  3. drain soaked beans, add to boiling water
  4. simmer for ~40 mins until soft
  5. add rock sugar, stir until melted
  6. pour in coconut milk 🥥
  7. mix it all together
  8. optional: add aloe vera bits
  9. bring to a final boil → done ✨
