My favorite summer dessert Sweet Mung Bean Soup Recipe:
In a large pot, combine mung beans, brown sugar, water, and pandan leaves (optional).
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and allow to simmer for 30 minutes or until mung bean splits open.
Add sago pearls (optional) and coconut milk.
Simmer for another 8 minutes or until sago pearls turn translucent.
Serve warm or chilled. This is refreshing on hot days!!!

- soak mung beans in water for 30–60 mins
- boil 6–8 bowls of water
- drain soaked beans, add to boiling water
- simmer for ~40 mins until soft
- add rock sugar, stir until melted
- pour in coconut milk 🥥
- mix it all together
- optional: add aloe vera bits
- bring to a final boil → done ✨
