True friendships

A message to share about friendship

Real vs. ordinary
An ordinary friend has never seen you cry. A real friend has shoulders for you to rely on.

An ordinary friend does not know your parents' last name. A real friend has their phone numbers in the address book.

An ordinary friend will bring a bottle of wine to your party. A real friend will come to help you prepare early and leave later to help you clean.

An ordinary friend hates you calling after he has fallen asleep. A real friend will appreciate you call no matter what moment.

An ordinary friend asks you to talk about your troubles. A true friend is looking for you to solve your problems.

An ordinary friend is curious about your romance. A true friend can threaten you to share your stories.

An ordinary friend visits like a guest. A real friend will open the refrigerator to take things by himself/herself.

An ordinary friend thinks that friendship is over after an argument. A true friend understands that when you haven't fought, it is not true friendship.

An ordinary friend expects you to stay with him/her forever. A true friend expects him/her to be by your side forever!

Words speak louder than pictures

As youtube, facebook and microblog are popular, blogs relied on writings, such as xanga and blogspot, lose their popularity. However, I still think words are more powerful than images. It's because writings show a person's knowledgeable thoughts, life philosophy, and level of writing skills. Sentences leave readers a space and time to imagine. Reading and writing cultivate patience in our minds. In contrast, eye-catching images and videos have already quickly exposed the realistic pictures and facts. Therefore, I would encourage people around me to keep the valuable habits of writing and reading.
