Beginner's mind - Life is a Gritty Marathon

Merry Christmas!

Very inspiring 10 Ted Talks to recommend which might worth more than a MBA:

Process>Outcome
Smartness is a talent and Kindness is a choice. I feel that Kindness is more precious to find in Today's Society.

They are all very insightful speeches. My favorites:
3. Angela Lee Duckworth: The Key to Success? Grit.
4. Srikumar Rao: Plug into your Hardwired Happiness.
6. Ramsey Musallam: 3 Rules to Spark Learning
1. Carol Deweck: The Power of Believing that you Can Improve

Stay Positive!!

Be happy, stay positive!!

You can do it!! Say a positive thing twenty times to yourself when you are feeling down. Your subconscious mind will sense it and brighten your mood!

Set short and simple goals and achieve them, then you'll feel happier about yourself.

If you try to achieve a big and challenging goal but you are not running while everyone else is running to achieve it, you'll feel frustrated. If so, there are two options: either you set a lower expectation that you can walk to meet it, or you keep a high expectation but make sure you run and be aggressive enough to satisfy it.

Travel in 2012 and 2013

Nov 2012 Travel to Nanjing in China

Haven't posted anything here for a long time. And here comes the end of the year again.

I can see myself growing. It's nice to read back what I wrote before. Who cares about this blog. I wonder. I make this public, but I don't really promote it to people. It's been a contradicting need of self-awareness.

I don't expect people around me would read my blog, because I am sure there are so many more important things in their lives that they are more concern about.

If you are the person who is following my blog, thanks for your time! I hope this is helpful and inspiring to you.

Please "Like" our cooking video on Youtube

Hi everyone, ^^

Sharon and I join the cooking contest on youtube which calls "Delicious Seoul Story".

There are 3 ways to support us to win the contest:

1. Click "like" on our video and invite your friends to like it as well. (Need to login either your gmail/ youtube acc to "like" it)

2. Refresh/ click the video for multiple times to increase the number of views. (Invite your friends too)

3. Leave a comment on our video response

40% of score depends on no. of "likes" and "views",
60% of score will be based on judges

Last year, we joined the contest (search "juk of love" on youtube). Although we did not win, we would like to try it again this year. Your "likes" and views" mean a lot to us. We really want to win the contest and get a free trip to Korea to join the final round of cooking contest over there.

Please help spread the words and "Share" it on your facebook. Thank you! :) The event is from NOW till August 17th.
